The BougeRV 400W CIGS Adhesive Kit is a 400-watt cigs thin-film option best suited to mid-scale adhesive thin-film array. Drill-free 400W adhesive thin-film.
Overview
This 400W kit pairs two Yuma CIGS thin-film flexible panels with a full power system. CIGS cells hold up better than crystalline silicon under partial shade and heat, and the adhesive-backed panels bond straight to a roof with no drilling — the safest mounting path for a lightweight manufactured or RV roof.
Storage and inversion are included: a 40A MPPT controller, two 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries, and a 2,000W pure sine wave inverter, so the array can run appliances rather than just trickle-charge a battery.
Features & real-world use

The most flexible panel in the kit
The CIGS sheet bends a full 360° and is glass-free, so it wraps the curves that crack a rigid 'flexible' mono panel at 30°.

Built to outlast a mono array
CIGS holds nearly all of its rated output after years of mobile use, where a comparable mono panel degrades or gets scrapped in 1–3 years — closer to $10 a year than $50.

IP68 waterproof, rain or snow
Panels, connectors, and junction boxes are all sealed to IP68 and rated to 2400Pa wind and 5400Pa snow load, so weather on the roof doesn't faze the array.

A full 2,000W of clean AC
The included pure sine wave inverter delivers 2,000W through 15A and 20A outlets — enough for power tools, a fridge, and everyday electronics at once.

Monitor and control from your phone
BougeRV's app shows real-time output, battery voltage, and load over Bluetooth from up to ~33 feet, and switches the inverter on or off remotely.

LiFePO4 storage, not lead-acid
The 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery weighs about a third of a comparable lead-acid battery, gives you the full 100% usable capacity, and lasts roughly 4,000 cycles.

Protected by a smart BMS
An onboard battery management system guards against over-voltage, over-current, short circuits, and overheating, backing a 10-year service life.

40A MPPT that dials in the charge
The Sunflow 40A MPPT controller squeezes the most from the array and lets you set charge current anywhere from 0 to 40A.
Built for any roof, deck, or vehicle
The kit's two CIGS panels bond on with adhesive tape and flex to 360°, so the array goes onto almost any roof or deck a rigid module can't — while the controller, battery, and inverter turn it into a complete system.
RV & trailer roofs
The adhesive CIGS panels bond flush to a fiberglass, aluminum, or rubber roof and follow its crown — no rack, no penetrations to seal.
Camper vans & conversions
Low-profile, lightweight panels for a high-top or pop-top roof, with the power system mounted inside.
Boats & marine decks
IP68 sealing and 2400Pa/5400Pa ratings let the array live on a wet, exposed deck.
Airstreams & curved rigs
360° flex wraps the tight radius of a polished trailer where rigid panels can't sit.
Mobile & manufactured homes
Adhesive panels stay within a thin HUD-code roof's dead-load budget while the LiFePO4 bank runs real household loads.
Cabins, sheds & tiny homes
A complete drill-free off-grid system for an outbuilding, with 2,000W of AC on tap.

Roof-load fit for manufactured homes
CIGS thin-film adds under 0.5 psf and bonds flat to the deck — no point loads, safe across all HUD roof-load zones (South, Middle, North).
Charge-controller type decides how much of your panels' output actually reaches the battery:
Pros & cons
👍 Pros
- Flexible CIGS thin-film — drill-free, zero point-load on the roof
- Includes an efficient MPPT charge controller (95–98% vs ~75% PWM)
👎 Cons
- Lower peak efficiency than premium rigid mono — needs more area per watt
Is the BougeRV 400W CIGS Adhesive Kit right for your mobile home?
Choose this panel if your priority is mid-scale adhesive thin-film array. Because it is a flexible, low-profile panel, it can usually go straight onto a manufactured roof without exceeding the 10–15 psf dead-load limit.
